To create a logo for the youth baseball teams from Wee Ball all the way to the Minors.

The client wanted a classic baseball typography with a swooping tail. I found a typeface named Buffulo Nickel that worked perfectly for this logo. I then used the pen tool to create the sweeping tail off the “s”. I then used the path finder to merge the object with the outlined text to create a single object that I could use a black stroke on that would outline the whole word instead of each individual letter.
