To create a fun and youthful poster to promote the school’s first Rave Run.

After talking with my client, I knew immediately that I wanted to include neon lights into the design. So, I started with Hello Dever, a font that closely resembles these lights, but was still easy to read. I made several copies of the layer, then I used a Gassuian Blur of different intensities on each layer. This created a glowing effect. To further push the light idea, I traced the middle of the words with the pen tool to create an inner line that would act as the center.

I used Montserrat for the other text to give it a clean and youthful feeling. After that, I decided to add a graphic for more visual pull. I used Adobe Firefly (an AI generator) to create a running shoe neon light. I then took to photoshop to clean it up a bit, as well as to intensify the red color to more closey match OPS’s school color.
